Barneys Coffeeshop and Café

Barneys is a crowded coffeeshop filled to the seams with young “wanna be’s"…but they have a great selection of weed and hash. The man working the counter was friendly and let us see and smell the product before buying, he even gave me a free t-shirt. They have little books of filters, post cards and stickers so you can leave with a useful souvenir.
The café which is situated two doors down on the corner is clean and plays funky music but the menu is very basic, breakfast ( 9.00 EU) or a burger (11.50 EU). I found this to be very exspensive when I have seen other local cafes offering the same burger for 4.oo- 6 .oo. The neighbourhood also features a great piercing store called Dare to Wear and The House of Tattoos which has the reputation of being one of the most hygienic in Amsterdam.
