Famous TV chef Herman (den Blijker) and his
associate David have finally found their winning
chef for their classic restaurant Herrie in
the Utrechtsestraat. The ever popular tv-program
detailed the race between many a chef and a
chaotic renovation taking place in the background.
The interior is glamorous meets urban chic,with
the upstairs, being done in shades of white,
crème and gold. Downstairs, is darker,
hottter and oh so sexy. Upstairs there is no
set menu; simply indicate what you feel like
eating (or don’t feel like) and how many
courses you want. Downstairs serves up tasty
finger food and delicious cocktails.

Olav proves to be a genuine living room restaurant
in 1950’s style: with traditional dark
brown panelling along the grey walls and granny
chairs that are guaranteed to make you itchy.
Dinner in this amazing setting, is only 26 euros
for the set menu of four courses. The menu changes

could easily become your favourite restaurant.

who was forced to leave the culinary stage to
tend to a knee injury is back on track . Jean
now runs her new place, Beddington's. Former loyal
customers will recognise the stylish black and
white design of the old restaurant. Be sure and
request a table near the open kitchen. The menu
is brief and definitely for those with an advanced
palatte featuring items such as Oysters with granite
of Japanese ginger, spring onion and cucumber
with an accompanying salad of tauge and radish.
